Why Hire a Coach:

Not sure where to start?  Feeling overwhelmed and can’t imagine which way to turn next?  Are you feeling like you could use someone to talk to, that would understand living with diabetes.  I have lived well with type 1 diabetes for 50 years, I understand change and you may want to consider this option.

Making a Life Plan:

I have been coaching clients for many years and when change happens it can be difficult to know where to start. If you know staying exactly where you are is not an option.  A life coach can be a great choice.  Please send me an email and we can set up a time for a free consultation.  Click here to contact Bonnie.

I have lived and enjoyed a life full of family, friends, work, and adventure and today is no different.  Life change is a constant and the only thing I have any control over is how I react to that change.

coaching puzzle

A Life Coach can help you piece together a plan of action that would best suite you.  It’s important to remember there is no one size fits all in life or with diabetes.  Each individual is unique in their own needs.  One thing I had to learn with diabetes is each day is a new day and things do change.  I found hanging onto anything from yesterday was going to get in my way of living well with diabetes.

Living with any chronic condition that is 24/7, can be a challenge.  Each and everyday we have a choice and I made a choice in life many years ago to live life one-day-at-a-time.  Remembering I was only responsible for my reaction to things and how I moved forward allowed me the opportunity to make choices each and everyday for me.  I really don’t like the feeling that I get when I am feeling sorry for myself or pointing to something or someone outside of me for how I am feeling.  I always remember the class I took many years ago and they talked about the picture below. When you are pointing at someone or something else for how you are dealing with any situation in your life.  When you look at the picture and you see three fingers pointing back at you might be a good time to ask yourself a few questions.

  1. Stop…give yourself permission to step away from the situation.
  2. What is really going on here?
  3. What is my part in this?
  4. How do I want to move forward?
